Daily Tasks/Shared Living (SIL, STA, MTA)
At Reignite Support, we understand that daily tasks can be a challenge for neurodiverse individuals and people with disabilities. That’s why we offer Daily Tasks/Shared Living services as part of our NDIS support services in Adelaide and regional South Australia.
Our Daily Tasks/Shared Living services are designed to provide individuals with disabilities with the support they need to live independently and manage their daily tasks. We work closely with our participants and their families to develop individualised care plans that meet their specific needs.
What services are included in Daily Tasks/Shared Living services?
- 24/7 support with an individualised approach
- Medication management and administration
- Help with personal care activities, provided with dignity, compassion and respect
- Help building daily living skills with tasks such as preparing meals, cooking and cleaning
- Assistance with behaviour support plans
- Help with household tasks
- Social skills development through activities
- Support with supervision, personal safety and security
- Support for medical appointments, including transportation
- Community access support (eg visiting families, attending appointments)
- Assisting with setting up and maintaining utilities
- Support with managing finances and bills

Yes, at Reignite Support, all the above services are customised to meet the specific needs of each participant, and they can be modified at any time.
Supported Independent Living (SIL)
What are Supported Independent Living (SIL) services?
SIL services are designed to help individuals with disabilities develop the skills they need to live independently at their home.
What services are included in SIL services?
- Personal care assistance
- Cooking and cleaning assistance
- Companionship
- Budgeting assistance
What is not included in a SIL quote?
- Everyday expenses (rent, utilities, groceries, etc)
- Care in hospital
- SDA related costs (repairs, vacancy costs, etc)
- Activities outside of the home (transport. holidays etc)
Are SIL services customised to suit individual needs?
Yes, SIL services at Reignite Support are tailored to meet the specific needs of each participant, and our experienced support workers work closely with them to develop the skills they need to live independently.
Short Term Accommodation (STA)
STA is a way of providing respite care that allows both participants and their carer to have a break or a change of scenery for a short period of time. STA is not just about the accommodation – it also involves the support they receive while staying there, such as personal care, food, medication assistance and activities. At Reignite Support we ensure that your STA is assisedt by our professional, caring and passionate support workers who are trained to support people with different challenges, including those with the high health needs.
Living options: STA services are usually provided in a group-based facility, but Reignite Support can also provide STA as additional support in your own home or a private accommodation.
Can a friend or family member join?: Yes, Participants may choose to reside with a friend or family member during their STA, but the companion will have to share the cost of accommodation.
What activities will we offer?: We are completely guided by you! Our team works closely with participants to create an experience that suits their needs, goals, and aspirations. Most importantly, we want you to have fun while learning new skills.
How long can we stay? Short Term Accommodation is usually funded under core support in your NDIS plan and allows up to 28 days per year. You can use it flexibly, such as in a block of up to 14 days or a few days a month, depending on your preferences.

Medium Term Accommodation (MTA)
Medium Term Accommodation (MTA) as part of our NDIS home and living support services. MTA is a temporary solution for individuals who are unable to move into their long-term home due to outstanding disability support needs. It usually covers the cost of accommodation up to maximum of 90 days and provides a temporary solution while waiting for other disability supports, such as home modifications, to be completed.
