Assist-Daily Life

At Reignite Support, we understand that personal activities are an essential part of daily living. For individuals with disabilities, performing these activities independently can be challenging. That’s why we offer Assist-Daily Life services as part of our NDIS support services in Adelaide and regional South Australia.

Our Assist-Daily Life services are designed to provide individuals with disabilities with the support they need to perform daily living activities with confidence and independence. We work closely with our participants and their families to develop individualised care plans that meet their specific needs.

Our Assistance with Daily Life services include:

Personal Care

• Supporting with mobility and transferring from bed or chair/wheelchair or toilet
• Helping with dressing and grooming to look and feel your best at each moment of every day
• Providing help with personal care, such as showering, oral hygiene, shaving and skin care
• Supporting with bladder and bowel management and menstrual care

Daily Living Tasks

• Meal preparation and feeding
• Health and medication management
• Basic household tasks
• Paying bills and budgeting
• Joining community clubs, activities and programs
• Travelling on public transport
• Learning new skills
• Buying groceries
• Companionship
• Washing and laundry
• Assisting with appointments
• Help to look after pets

Reignite Support can deliver Individual supports in a variety of settings, including, but not limited to, the participant’s own home. Our Direct Support Workers are trained to provide care in a respectful and dignified manner, and always work closely with participants to ensure that their needs are met. We also provide ongoing support and review of participants’ progress and make any necessary adjustments to their support plan as needed.
